This one has me tearing my hair out.
Using either FF 13.0 or Aurora (15.0a2), either normally or in their Safe Mode, the programs freeze when I go to Amazon.com. The only way I can navigate the website is by using the IE Tab 2 extension.
Amazon.com is the ONLY site (that I'm aware of) that this happens with, and it's only begun in the past few weeks. I've cleared the cache in both programs and removed Amazon's cookies, but the problem persists.
Any thoughts?

Do you have the same problem if you create a new profile and test it with no extensions or non-default themes installed?

Safe mode does NOT disable plugins, try disabling all plugins/toolbars and see what happens. If Amazon complains enable only the plugin it asks for.

Re: FF Freezes When I Open Amazon.com
Thanks for the responses.
For some reason, Foxit Reader was treating Amazon.com as a corrupt PDF file and giving me an error message which could be seen only when all windows were closed and only the Desktop was visible.
After downloading the current version of Foxit Reader I uninstalled the slightly out-of-date version on my computer. When I installed the current version I didn't let it install the FF plugin. FF no longer freezes when Amazon.com is displayed and handles PDF files with no problem.
Problem solved.
ADDENDUM: Just to check, I installed the Foxit Reader plugin for FF and everything still works properly, so it must have been a bug in the previously installed version of Foxit Reader.
