There is no Win64 releases of Firefox yet either. The 32-bit version of SeaMonkey should work anyways.

Be aware that the official Firefox 64-bit builds were hidden from the public partially because they have serious regressions that make it worse to run than Firefox 32-bit. Since I very very very seriously doubt that WaterFox's developers have fixed regressions that Mozilla hasn't, I would suspect that it has the same problems.

eventually a 64bit seamonkey release will come - but not anytime soon.

I too have recently installed Waterfox on all my Win7 64bit machines and haven't encountered any serious problems.
heck, I'm surprised that Flash Player 11.3 has not crashed Waterfox 13 on my 64bit computers. hah!

and the final release of Opera 12 came out several days ago. first official version of Opera to fully support 64bit OSes.
even Opera has produced native x64 Windows/Mac versions of their web browser that are nearly stable.

Unofficial x64 builds for SeaMonkey and other Mozilla products can be downloaded here - http://htguard.island.ac/
Patch for allowing x64 SeaMonkey build is already checked in trunk, but there is no free resources to build even nightly test builds for now, afaik...

It would be great if SeaMonkey actually did beat Firefox to an official 64 bit build though.

Yes, because if Firefox engineers don't have the time to invest in that level of testing, the SeaMonkey folks do.

32-bit Seamonkey freezes 1-2 time a week the whole PC with WIN7, 64.bit!
It will be great to try 64-bit version.

That probably has absolutely nothing to do with whether SeaMonkey is 32bit or 64bit. If you keep having freezing problems with SeaMonkey start a new topic to get support as this old (18 months) thread is being locked.
