Hi,
One site in particular (http://toronto.kijiji.ca/york/) insists on completing the words I enter into the search field. I don't know if this is their setting or SeaMonkeys. Can anyone help me to stop this irritating behaviour?
Thanks,
.... john

It's being done by code on their web site, nothing you can do about it.

Thanks Ztruker,
It's quite persistent, and very irritating.

Are you a "member"? If so there may be an option to change that behavior?
Block the domain, classistatic.com. (Don't know if that would break anything else by doing so, but ...)
Ah, Peugeot, that brings back memories. But the price! The guy must have been smokin'.

Well you can turn off Javascript. Or use NoScript to turn it off for that site. Might break other things however.

Thanks the rube
But........ $450!! Holy crap! Smokin' alright.
Thanks Philip. I may give that a try.
I'm not sure I want to put too much energy into this.
I may just stop going, unless I'm absolutely stuck.
