I have Tools > Message Filter >
Filters for: Local Folders
"Enabled filters are run automatically in the order shown below:"
I have 22 filters that work. All, are selected "Enabled."
The following filter doesn't work:
Subject: contains abuse,
Subject: contains Abuse
Subject: contains Spouse Abuse
Subject: contains Spouse Abuse Tutorial
Body: contains Spouse Abuse.
"Check Mail or Manually Run"
"Match any of the following"
Perform these actions: "Move Message to "Abuse on Local Folders"
"Run selected filters on: Inbox"
What happens is emails with those subjects get sent to another folder.
Typically an email will have Subject: "Spouse Abuse Tutorial" but some will have just "abuse" or "Spouse Abuse."
All filters are selected "Enabled."
A couple TB updates ago most of my filters changed themselves and sent everything to only one folder. I had to manually change them all.
Suggestions?
Thanks,
Kerry

Re: Some filters not working correctly
Hi finok,
Your question gave me a hint. I might have fixed it.
I deleted the filter and the folder that the abuse messages were going to and now they go to the abuse folder. I then recreated the filter and deleted folder and all appears to be well.
Thanks muchly, that's been bothering me for quite a while.
Kerry
BTW: The filter had entries from 2009 but not all the ones of late. I emptied the log but it's not logging this past hour of incoming email tests that require filters. "Enable filter log" is selected.

Re: Some filters not working correctly
filter Y was working in 2009.
possibly in 2010 a filter X was added, (ahead of Y in the sequence) so that X moves the mail before Y can see any mail
?

Hi piez,
No idea how to use your info, or how it applies to my problem.
Thanks,
Kerry
