Sadly, the end of my use of Camino is near.

Talk about the native Mac OS X browser.

Sadly, the end of my use of Camino is near.

Having held off upgrading my OS to Lion, I finally gave in and upgraded to Mountain Lion yesterday, which has given new, snappy life to my early 2008 MB Pro. It's almost like a new machine.

Part of the reason for delaying was my ability to continue to use 1Password with Camino, which works muxh better than the new versions of that password app. And Camino's inability to block pop-unders is adding ammunition to the decision.

With ML, I've discovered Safari is much, much faster than on Snow Leopard, along with everything else, so that will be my new main browser. Unfortunately, 1Password/Camino are no longer compatible at all; I alchemied 1Password 3,5.15 to make it work with Camino alongside current versions for the past couple of years.

It's been a nice ride. So long. :(
