Where has the 'highlight text' button gone in Sea Monkey Composer 2.12 please?
(I know the HTML code but previous versions of Sea Monkey had a useful highlight text shortcut.)

Where was it found before?
And what was "before"?

Re: SEA MONKEY 2.12 COMPOSER
In the Composer format toolbar to the right of the 'choose colour for text/choose colour for background box' there was a button in early 2.x versions for 'choose text highlight colour'.
Seems odd that there is no shortcut in 2.12 for this useful feature. Or if there is, where is it?

I can't find bug corresponding to this, in which SeaMonkey version this feature was present?

Still not seeing it (back to 2.0.14), though I may have missed it, so how about a screenshot & version number?

Re: SEA MONKEY 2.12 COMPOSER
I installed SM 1.0, and I can confirm that the highlighter is there in Composer, between the Text/Background color selector and the "smaller font" button.
Now, here's the odd thing. After closing SM 1.0 and then reopening SM 2.15a1, the highlighter returned to Composer. I was absolutely sure it hadn't been there. I just remoted in to my home PC and started up SM 2.15a1. There is no highlighter in SM 2.15a1 Composer there.
So, how would installing and launching an old version of SM cause a missing button to return in a current version?

But then again, I may be wrong.

Did you use the same Profile?
If so, maybe it set/added a Pref that was missing since 2.0?

SM 1 uses different profiles from SM 2, though, doesn't it? I don't think it could use the same profile. I didn't have to create a new profile when I started up SM 1.0, so I just figured it was using an old profile still on the computer before I moved to SM 2.
But then again, I may be wrong.

Version 2.8 had the highlighter. Perhaps later, but I'll settle for 2.8

Yeah, no highlighter bugged me too. Not being a programmer, I cheat. Just open an OpenOffice Writer document, type what you want, use their highlighter, copy it and paste it into SeaMonkey. Done and done. SeaMonkey picks up the code and it looks like this, if you're interested (like someone already pointed out), with a <span style= tag:
<p style="margin-bottom: 0in; font-weight: normal"
align="CENTER"><big><font face="Verdana, sans-serif"><font
size="2"><big> <small><span style="background: #ffff00">YOUR TEXT HERE<br>
globules and/or liquids</span>
