perhaps needs to point to "General Information" instead of "Mozilla Firebird (Browser)"

(Default FB toolbar contains a button with this url)

I believe the idea is to show users all available Firebird forums at MozillaZine. My guess is that new users will go to Firebird General, if they are unaware of where they should post.

Firebird General was designed, I think, to talk about Firebird, not for tech support, that's what this forum is for.

There should be a bookmark with the default install of Firebird that says "Tech Support" and sends it to this forum. I think that would help out newbies greatly.

That's a very good idea. The 'Tech Support' phrase is very catchy for new users.
