Finally I could submit the Thunderbird version of Firefox's "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus" addon. Starting with a lite version for Windows. To "Maximize your screen content space", plus Tabs-on-top in Windows Aero Basic (non glass) desktops. It's in the AMO site here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/hide_titlebar_plus_tb/I'm leaving this open to any issues/bug report. Thanks!

There's a new version 1.2.0 available, with configurable "Thunderbird" application-main-button at top-left corner!, like Firefox's one.

Great addon! Have been addicted to its FF counterpart for a long time. However, I have one issue (hope this is the right place to post it, rather than as a review on the AMO site. See this screenshot: This shows the actual top of my screen with TB maximized. The missing pixels at the top really aren't on the screen, it's not a badly aimed screenshot! With the smaller icons of the default TB theme, the problem isn't as obvious, but still noticeable when mousing over the buttons - the top border of the buttons also doesn't make it onto the screen. Could you please introduce some sort of pixel buffer at the top of the window to fix this? Many thanks!

Hi, first, thank you VERY much for this great addon (I have this in Fx too)! One little thing is not perfect, because I have NOT the now normal rounded tabs (instead I have the "Phoenity Shredder" Theme): Unfortunately, so the button always overlaps a little the first Tab ... Maybe, you have an solution for this behaviour - configurable space after the button or so? Thank you! Kind regards, SwissBIT

Hi SwissBIT, Regarding "Phoenity Shredder" Theme: I've tested Thunderbid 24 with my addon and Phoenity 3.5.8 + Phoenity Buttins 0.50 and is works well, TBird button & tabs well aligned. Hopefully the incompatibilities are gone with these new versions. Regards! Javier SwissBIT wrote:Hi, first, thank you VERY much for this great addon (I have this in Fx too)! * New version 1.3.2 available , with Configurable Action for Window Close Button / ALT+F4 , including recommended setting "Close Current Tab"! (like Hide C. Titlebar Plus for Firefox)

Hi Javier!
Thanks for answer and new version!
However, it works now perfectly with TB v24.0 - GREAT!
Many greetings, SwissBIT

Hi there! I've been using both versions, for Fx & Tb, and quite recently, the Tb version 24.2.0 (as a result of latest update, I believe) I can no longer "grab" the title bar to move the window--there's nothing there to grab.
And what is that 'grab area' called? In case it's not your add on, but something else that causing the issue?
LOVE the add ons, BTW. I just hate all that 'wasted space', and you got rid of it for me!
TIA Gaia

Great addon! But with the latest Thunderbird update 31.0 the caption titlebar looks mutilated e.g. cropped on the top. An update of "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus" Lite, for Thunderbird! would be great ! Thanks in advance

Hello, Your excellent add-on seems not to work with my Thunderbird 31.0, even after the last update. The title bar remains visible, with tabs just below. (Windows 7 Home, Thunderbird 31.0, Hide Caption Titlebar Plus Lite 1.3.7 for Thunderbird). Any advice?... Thanks!

I've used your great add-on for years without any problem, but now on TB 31.0 it stopped working: after activating this add-on the TB restarts initially with a title bar removed, but it stays like this for less than a second, then the title bar returns back. Any idea?

Hi. Thanks for the add-on, I use it both in FF and TB, very convenient. When installing in Windows 8.1, however, the TB version has a glitch, not completely removing the titlebar, as shown in the picture below. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6L4uLoMGODARDZwbXVTTWdTSlU&usp=sharing

Hi. This has ceased to work for me in Thunderbird 31.3.0. When TB first starts, the titlebar briefly disappears, but it reappears when TB is fully loaded and the dialog to enter the password pops up.
Is this a known issue? If not, could you help me troubleshoot this?
Thanks!

Same problem for me on TB 31.3.0 Win8.1: TB starts with the titlebar hidden, but it reappears in a couple of seconds. Any idea?
