I checked out other computers at work where I listen to Real Player. Some will access the BBC Worldservice fine with Real Player and others are distorted like mine. I wonder if there's some incompatibility issue or something. Any ideas?

Firefox wouldn't let me choose how to open hurl.exe, but it would let me choose how to open a .ram file. After choosing to open a .ram file with RealPlayer, it recognized the Amazon hurl.exe files as .ram files and played them with no problems.

Look for a site with .ram files like <a href="http://rpgfan.com/soundtracks/gensosui-pc2/index.html">this one</a>. I used Real Alternative 1.3

I tried to do like you did but it doesn't recognize the "hurl.exe" and still ask me to save it and the "open with" option is disabled.

Old thread resurrection, perhaps it will help someone.........

This Amazon UK playing soundclips problem with hurl.exe being offered as a SAVE only option still prevails for me even with Firefox 2.0b1 and either Real Player 10.5 or Real Alternative 1.50. I've tried all the other fixes on the web, and Jetcell's fix is the only one that works. Certain sites with clips seem to NOT grey out the Open option, so once you've found such a site and tick the 'Default' box and open with Real Player or Real Alternative, it then works on the Amazon UK site as well.
