Youtube Redirect Notice
I've been getting youtube Redirect Notice when every i click a link in YouTube to leave the site. It seems to only happen in Firefox not in IE or chrome and I don't see any setting on YouTube so it seems it's Firefox doing it. I've tried it both with the anti virus and firewall off and add on turned off but it still give me the notice.

Re: Youtube Redirect Notice
Please post a link that gives you the problem... and a link to where you are redirected

Re: Youtube Redirect Notice
From what I can see, almost any link will give you that. It's a relatively standard page – also seen on many governmental and big corporation sites – that tells you "You are about to be redirected to..."
For instance, visit my company's Youtube page:
http://www.youtube.com/autoprevention and look at the link in the top right (next to the logo).
If you hover above "autoprevention.qc.ca", you'll see the link is shown as "http://autoprevention.qc.ca"
But click on it and you will get a page with a "redirection notice" warning you that "the previous page redirects you to autoprevention.qc.ca: if you don't like it, you may go back to Youtube"
Now, if you click on "Back", you'll notice that the link for "http://autoprevention.qc.ca" now appears as "http://www.youtube.com/redirect?..."
All that is with Firefox. If I do the same with Internet Explorer 9, I notice there is a two-step process that is done transparently: the Youtube redirect page appears for 2 seconds, before it's automatically replaced with the final destination.
I *think* the same process happens in Chrome: I'm not sure if the 1/2-second flicker I see is a Chrome glitch or a very quick trip through the redirection notice.

Re: Youtube Redirect Notice
There is no back button it opens in a new tab. And if it's a governmental site way only in firefox does it do this. IE and chrome go right to the link no other youtube page for a second or anything.
All links do this but an example would be,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3cQnawM1Dc
Clicking on the first link sends me to
http://www.youtube.com/redirect?q=http% ... UwNDcyMzU0
Also seems I have a problem with blip video's not playing in firefox they work fine in chrome and IE just again firefox where it doesn't seem to want to work.

Re: Youtube Redirect Notice
I think I've found it - it's a problem with the Video DownloadHelper extension (version 4.9.10 in my case). I started Firefox in recovery mode and there was no redirect notice. I disabled all extensions - still no notice. Then I started enabling extensions one by one until I narrowed it to DownloadHelper. All extensions but DownloadHelper enabled = no notice; all extensions but DownloadHelper disabled = notice.

Re: Youtube Redirect Notice
See that work but now YouTube really look bad like Google went and changed the layout and just said screw you. But again this is ONLY in firefox if i go to youtube in chrome it looks like the old one. This one has comment's with the user photo by every comment and the stat page is really really bad now. SO ether they just did something last night or i need to put that addon back in.
This is what it looks like with video helper off

Re: Youtube Redirect Notice
Nothing? Does seem strange that an add on can effect a whole web site or is it the browser seeing how only firefox keeps doing this.
Tho it is funny to get a Redirect Notice for a youtube link.

Re: Youtube Redirect Notice
Any one know why only firefox is doing this on youtube? Looked around and saw I'm not the only one where in IE youtube will look fine like it, for the most part, always has but in FF it's all new like and stuff with comment's having the user image and what not now it want's me to use my full name cause I never got the buttons to even ok or decline unless i went to IE.
