I use Intel graphics at work with HWA and it works perfectly fine with updated drivers - much nicer fonts then just using software.

Yes, I have used HWA for two years, and no problems with it until yesterday.

Well update the drivers and see. And besides UX changes nearly every day as they change stuff. The curved tabs were broke for me for a couple of days and now they are fine. Maybe it will be fixed tomorrow. You could also poke around Bugzilla and see what they may be working on.
[edit]
BTW, with safe mode not working for you did you try a new Clean test profile with no changes to settings and with HWA on.

Drivers updated, but problem unresolved. Hope it will be fine soon.

No, but the problem is in HWA, I am sure about it.

You might also consider disabling the XUL cache (although be aware that it may cause some performance lag especially at startup):

Just noticed, the Tab Strip feature, is removed from the roadmap (or perhaps to FireFox 21)

Fx20 for panel menu seems doubtful as the cycle for 19 is almost over and the panel requires support from the new customization scheme, neither of which is actually functional in the Elm branch.

What's up with the 64bit UX-builds? Todays build crashes on start while yesterdays works fine. It's been like that for some days now.

64 builds have never worked on my WIN7 64bit machine. I am using 32bit version and I have never had problems with it.

Mozilla doesn't recommend for people use the 64-bit builds as they are not directly supported which means they are accumulating problems that aren't being fixed. There's also fundamental issues with 64-bit builds that actually technically makes them slower than 32-bit builds. They are even considering shutting down the builds again.

How do I disable the page display crap when moving tabs around? That sucks big time.

As an aside, I forgot how badly I hate Chrome tab shape. I can live with square corners.
