I guess I misunderstook what he was asking. So it was not helpful at all
I was really just pointing him away from the ftp://ftp to the http:// file locations

Re: Nightly Troubleshooting Information
Thanks James. I couldn't find is when I searched for it - didn't search for "differences" - DOH! Got it bookmarked now.
Jay - I have that page bookmarked just below the link I posted, just grabbed the first one in the list.
I guess using tree species as names for trunks / branches makes sense.

Search for say Maple or Birch in Firefox Builds section would have worked.

Re: Nightly Troubleshooting Information
I've been having this problem for about 2 days now - my font on Facebook and other sites like Google and other miscellaneous sites sometimes starts changing from and back to the normal font. The new font looks like the one from Internet Explorer, and then it reverses back. It reverses to the Nightly/Firefox font when I select the font/text or just do some other stuff, like click a link or refresh a page. But it really can be a pain in the butt sometimes!
Font becomes a little less readable.
Here's the screenshot:
It just changes randomly without any rules.
Any suggestions?

Re: Nightly Troubleshooting Information
Hi all,
I've looked around and had seen info here at one time (unless it was on bugzilla), but can't find the thread discussing why updating gets stuck on applying update.
Can someone offer some guidance?
Thanks

Most of the time, just go to Firefox Nightly Builds and manually download and install the latest update. I find when Nightly crashes and then tries to update something gets borked. You might also want to remove the Nightly folder (you can go via uninstall, just make sure you pay attention to the prompts so you don't nuke your profile folder in the process) before applying the downloaded update.

Re: Nightly Troubleshooting Information
Hm, got the new Nightly 17 update and it started freezing up every time I downloaded something. I figured out by setting browser.download.useToolkitUI back to false it no longer crashes, but now I'm forced to use the new download manager. Anyone getting the same thing?

Hello!
The Nightly updated in 2013-02-01 for 21.0a1 release and the some websites backgrounds page is not working properly.
Like this: http://worldoftanks.eu/
When I scroll down parts of the screen outside filling black colour: http://kepkezelo.com/images/hv0qpsxo8vzqg9od3c3.jpg
Trying disable the addons but the problem is not fixing.

Known bug, will be fixed in today's nightly.
