Stylish Tools

Post by Ken Saunders »

Quicker access to several Stylish features through a toolbar button and/or keyboard shortcuts. Available for Firefox, Thunderbird, and SeaMonkey.

It isn't the most needed add-on of all time, and I initially created this for myself but I thought that others might find it to be useful too so it's now available on AMO.

Stylish Tools provides quicker access to the following Stylish features.
1. Write New Style
Access through the toolbar button or through Ctrl + Alt + U
2. Manage Styles
This allows you to manage your userstyles in a tab and not through Add-ons Manager > Stylish. The difference is that It loads much quicker.
Access through the toolbar button or through Ctrl + Alt + M
In Thunderbird, access is only available through the toolbar button.
3.Write style for... (this URL, etc)
Access through the toolbar button.

Compatible with the following
Firefox 20.0 - 23.0a1
SeaMonkey 2.0 (probably works with others but haven't tested)
Thunderbird 17.0 - 23.0a1

Stylish Tools on AMO.

The Stylish add-on allows you to change the appearance of Firefox, other Mozilla (and Mozilla powered) applications, and websites by overwriting (in a sense) CSS style sheets.
You don't necessarily have to know CSS to use Stylish since there are hundreds of pre-made userstyles, but you should learn CSS anyway since it's an essential part of the Internet.
Stylish was extremely useful for me when I learned CSS.

I'm back, and now I know I definitely want this extension...

but the 'download now' button is not a link...?! I don't know what this means...??

Is there another download location?

EDIT

If I browse there in another browser (IE 10), I can download it.

Does this mean the file may not include the SeaMonkey required strings for mozilla to recognize it works in my SeaMonkey?

I downloaded it, and it installed fine... don't know why I couldn't use SM to download it...?

Thanks for using it.

If you were trying to install it from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/stylish-tools/ then you'd see a download link, but if you were in the SeaMonkey section, using SeaMonkey, you'd see an install link, or more precisely, "Add to SeaMonkey". Same for Thunderbird.

I just updated it for SeaMonkey 2.17. No changes, except for version compatibility.
