How to disable 22's scaling?

Post by Ihmemies »

Is there some way to disable this feature introduced in 22:

Windows: Firefox now follows display scaling options to render text larger on high-res displays

I couldn't find an option after a quick look so I upgraded back to 21. The implementation is in my opinion silly and I don't want it. It may or may not be fine for others but that is not the point of this question.

Updated specs: Longtime TB user. Currently on Win10 desktop (about to die), Win7 desktop (temporarily resuscitated), backup Win7 laptop (decommissioning soon), and -- soon -- Win11 PRO x64 desktop.

layout.css.devPixelsPerPx changes only chrome scaling. Webpage fonts & images are still humungous. I guess it's better to deal with this as usual, skip the update and wait till Mozilla fixes their &)¤. Just like FF3.5 broke color management, I had to use 3.0 for 1½ years till 4.0 finally fixed the bugs :)
