It is affecting other browsers, but does anyone know if this affects Firefox Mac? I seem to remember reading something about Firefox not being vulnerable to the kind of Javascript loop by which this exploit works.
In case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about

Due to a similar scenario firefox restricts what can be done in unload() and other exit functions. These restrictions will probably help to get out of the loop.

You think you could just quit the page then? Just curious, what steps do you think would be needed to get out of it?

If the restrictions trigger you see a check box in the dialogue "Do not show more alerts from this page" (not sure about the exact wording). Check it and the dialogue is not shown anymore.

So checking yes for the "Do not show more alerts from this page...." dialogue (assuming it appears) should get one out of the JS loop? And then the page can simply be closed? That's it?
