I would like to know if it is possible to use Firefox Browser on Windows Phone.
Like we did in the past with Netscape and Windows 98. Best Regards @lex ![]() Moving to Mobile.
The mobile Firefox is currently only for Android on ARMv7/v6 and even x86 in Beta.
No version of Windows Phone OS is supported and not likely anytime soon in near future. Back early on with Windows Phone 7 they could have but "Microsoft has unfortunately decided to close off development to native applications" halted development then and since. I'm pretty sure Netscape never ran on Windows Phone (or even Windows Mobile). There might have been a version of Firefox that ran on WinCE, but all WinCE support code in Firefox has been removed by now.

https://wiki.mozilla.org/Minimo The old Minimo experiment perhaps as versions worked on old Windows Mobile like 5.0, 4.2, WinCe. Best hope for Firefox on Windows Phone going forward will probably be if/when they unify the Metro APIs with desktop Windows 8.x, so you might possibly be able to install Firefox for Metro onto a future Windows Phone and run that.
That unification is probably a year or more down the road, though, and even then it's probably a longshot unless they start making Intel-based Windows Phones... @ KWiersen Thanks !!! You gave me some hope and made my day a little brighter!!!
Best Regards @lex
