Your install.rdf should be something like this:
Code: Select all

xmlns:em="http://www.mozilla.org/2004/em-rdf#">

<em:maxVersion>1.5</em:maxVersion>
</Description>
</em:targetApplication>

No i meant this GUID in the targetApplication part. It's the GUID of firefox, so to make the theme installable on firefox, it is compulsory to have that in.
Regarding the, it's the GUID of the theme, so you must have it. You can easily find a GUID generator by searching for it on google.
Code: Select all

Looks nice so far. I'm a bit confused... this is an Outlook 2003-style theme for Thunderbird? Or a general Microsoft Office 2003-style theme for Firefox? Or, are you making both? In any case, definitely great work--I wish I knew enough to help you.
Are you making the toolbar background color dependent on the Windows system colors or are you hardcoding it blue?

thx, i planed to make it for both ff and tb. but i started with ff. at the moment it is hardcoded in blue. maybe it is possible to use the system colors and some alpha blended png's to have that look, maybe. it is something if a "professionell" themer could help me a bit with his knowledge
now, the installation should work and is uploaded. use the download link above to get the latest version.
thx to b3virq3b and Pikachu90000!

i had uploaded a new version from the theme. you can find the download link in the first post.
- bookmarklist should work now
- toolbar and button height is correct
- checks and radios are now correct and should look much more than the real outlook
- back and forward buttons are a little bit better now, need some more tweaks
so you see, work not finished yet many has to be done, but maybe i start converting it to thunderbird soon.

it was simplier as i thought, so a simple port from the ff to a tb theme is now available to download. the download link is in the first post.
the tb theme needs many tweaks, so it can be used but isn't realy finished it is better to use small icons and no text till i changed the text version to be right aligned.
