I'm not sure what's going on with Holly but there's been ux builds turning out for the last week or so.

There's Holly hourly builds today, but the last 4 days were missing in action. Don't be fooled by the ones dated 18th, they're from the 15th.

they may be winding down Holly since it's supposedly going offline after Feb 4 from what i was reading a few months ago (talk about not maintaining the branch post 29 nightly -> aurora merger)

I haven't seen/heard any public comments about winding down Holly. I would think that Jared Wein will probably blog about it when that's the case. I'm betting on something inadvertent going on, hence why I asked if anybody actually filed a bug about it or not.

Nothing on the Release Engineering Maintenance page about shutting them off either. I'm still betting on it being accidental.

Even more to the point, the config for Holly still says to generate nightlies:
http://hg.mozilla.org/build/buildbot-co ... es.py#l248

So, instead of coming up with conspiracy theories or speculating about hidden motives, can someone just file the bug please?

Aren't you in the IRC chat? You're in a better position to both file and investigate.

It's the weekend and tomorrow's a US holiday. I like to think I'm allowed to have a life outside work ;)

LOL! Have a good rest, Ryan. :)

What I take from your earlier comments is that those still wanting the Holly build to continue ad-infinitum continue with a glimmer of hope (though I have my doubts). ;)

Much to my chagrin (though I have adapted thanks to help from Frank Lion), Australis will be the future of Fx.

They're not going to run Holly forever, but as long as there's a chance Australis isn't going to be uplifted to Aurora on the next merge day, they're going to keep it going. Past that, highly unlikely.

And because I'm feeling surprisingly motivated for 11:45pm on a Sunday night, I went ahead and filed bug 961578 for the Holly nightly bustage.

After returning to work after four weeks the nightlies installed on my work computers reported both that they are up to date but having the date from 19.12.2013. Is that a known problem?
