Greg K Nicholson wrote:"Delete Temporary Data" seems pretty self-explanatory and not too verbose. Similarly "Sanitize Settings" could become "Temporary Data Deletion Settings...".

I like this!! I think it's important to choose an easy to localize name...

"Temporary Data Deletion Settings"?

With the "not too verbose" comment, I thought that might have been humor :)

No, I'm serious - four words aren't too many if they're necessary to describe a button's function. I'm trying to think of the shortest possible explicit description.

I think that there should be submenu "Privacy Management" with two options:

Clear data
(checker) Record data

The first option would be usable for the Internet cafes, as users want to clear all data.
The second option would be more usable for normal users - now the only possibility is to start a new profile for that. I am absolutely sure that this is the only way to bring user-friendlieness to privacy, otherwise you excpect users to dig in options dialogue with options they do not understand (and even if they do it is too time consuming), or to clear all their data though they don't need it to.

Seriously, what's wrong with something simple & basic like "Clear privacy info" or "Clear tracks"?

I think purge or flush are 2 very commonly utilized words with internet apps, and inherently gets the message across.
