Do you have "layers.offmainthreadcomposition.async-animations" set to true?

Might be this Bug 875209 - Errors in rendering pages and failure to display drop downs

Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.

So is my hairy backside. Doesn't mean that I want to see it on my toolbar though.

Still, since doing my 'Download Improve' thing, which I added some gigantic amusing download effects to...I know how their animation stuff now works.

Must try a lot harder than that guys, it's already gone. ;)

Code: Select all

/*frank gets rid of some bookmark silliness....*/
#bookmarked-notification-anchor[notification="finish"] > #bookmarked-notification {
  background-image: none !important;
  animation: none !important;
}
#bookmarks-menu-button[notification="finish"] > .toolbarbutton-menubutton-dropmarker > .dropmarker-icon {  animation: none !important;}

..and no, I'm not going to a bookmark silliness extension, let some other poor slob do one for a change.

So that's why the star had to be taken out the urlbar and merged with the bookmarks-button. Totally worth it.
