building summary file for inbox
Suddenly TB is "building summary file for inbox" every time I want to get my mail. What can I do to prevent this? I can only use webmail now. Win98SE, TB 1.0.2, NAV, ZoneAlarmPro.
TIA,
Hannie

Same experience here. The suite on the same machine works quickly downloading mail. TB also freezes when deleting multiple messages, sometimes when deleting only one.

Compacting folders, and possibly deleting corrupted .msf files might help:

I had the same problem (on Windows Me) and deleting all .msf files in the profiles folder did solve the problem:

Everlasting indexing
The problem seems to be WIN9x/ME and daylight saving specific.
* Exit TB
* Turn off "automatic daylight saving adjustment"
* Start TB
* Reindex (compress, whatever..) folders
* Exit TB
* Turn on "automatic daylight saving adjustment" again if you like
This has helped here.
