xpcom:event receiver
When I try and shutdown (Windowns 98), xpcom:event receiver appears on my desktop and I cannot shutdown even when asking for the program to end. Any knowledge of this?

I am running XPpro, SP2.
I deleted my extensions and that seemed to fix it.
Then I re-installed them and it seems to be OK.
This forum isn't very helpful.
My last post about this subject was a month ago, I also started my own thread and did not get one single reply.
The magic fix for everything seems to be to create a new profile.

Anonymous wrote:Firefox forums, Mozilla forums, Wilder Security forums, McAfee forums.....nobody seems to have the answer to the xpcom:event receiver problem. Different solutions for different people, like XP privacy settings, AV settings, extension/s deletion, etc., etc., etc..........
It's another mystery that we will probably worship in the future
