HEADS UP CAMPERS - TODAY'S NIGHTLY LIKELY TO BE CRASH-HAPPY

If you have Status-4-eva and CTR installed today's Nighty will likely crash on startup.

I was trying to test latest hourly build based on cset https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/be3bce84a84d and it would not start. Crash-reports on hourly builds are useless because there are no symbols to decode the crash.

Tonight's Nightly will actually be based on cset: https://hg.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/3285e030d9c0 but the two check-ins on that cset are B2G patches, so unlikely to fix whatever is in the tested cset.

Had to Disable both CTR and S4E to get the cset to start without crashing.

EDIT: OK< false alarm - seems that my abcnews.com tab was causing the crash... CTR and S4E are off the hook.

Don't have either of those extensions so it will be interesting to see if other extensions cause the crashing as well

OK< false alarm - seems that my abcnews.com tab was causing the crash... CTR and S4E are off the hook. (maybe) unless something in one of the addons is doing something strange to that site, as it did load with both disabled.

Yeah, just waiting for the Nightly build so I can get symbols, but it will be this afternoon before I get a chance to test.

Interesting, reference the noted crashes above. I just looked at the Activity -> Maintenance on Win7 and see that its the plugin-container that's maybe crashing.

No idea how CTR or S4E could interfere with that...

I don't have either add-on and I get the crash. However, I don't crash in safe-mode so it could be caused by some other add-on.
