I disagree with your point. For the confirmation pages which require extensive interactions between browser and server like payment confirmation, you can not use the url-to-pdf converter and you may not want to share your personal information with another irrelevant site.

Well, I tested the Fireshot addon, but unfortunately, you'll have to save the webpage as images in the pdf format in a single page. Even using the Pro version, you can save webpages to multipage PDF files for print, but the paging sucks. Moreover, I really don't see how you'll benefit from installing an extra painful addon instead of simply restoring the built-in Print feature.

ok try "Print pages to Pdf"
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... es-to-pdf/

addon can be disable, removed but built in feature Permanent.
anyway it can be done with differrent editions with and without print tool

Anyway, printing feature 's code size is very little, I will evaluate whether to restore it.

But my patches are open, so even if my edition has not restored it, you also can restore it yourself ( rebuild ).

Hi xunxun1982,

Thanks for the excellent Firefox mini, but the firefox version 29 is reported to be old and some website is abnormal such as gmail. Do you have any plan to build a new Firefox mini based on last firefox?

Thanks.

I plan to develop a new lite edition, but I have not chosen which edition I will use ( maybe 38 or 39? which depends on the stability ), and I want to change the name from Mini to Lite, because some sites recognize the Mini words as a mobile browser. Anyhow, I need time to build and test it.

And you can try the lightfox: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=2764265, whose target is similar with my mini edition, though it is based on Firefox Nightly.

At present, I will take my time on my pcxFirefox full edition, after completing some key features and some optimization methods, I will turn to lite edition's idea design.

I actually tested light before I decided to use your mini as my main browser. Light was extremely slow when I tried to open hundreds of tabs from the saved session. That's why I stick to the pcxFirefox mini. I am not sure if it still has this problem, but I have been using User Agent Overrider to cheat those websites.
