According to Philip, this will be fixed soon in the following bug:
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368608
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

The inIFlasher component has been partially restored so third party extensions won't complain about missing it. However most of the methods on that component are just dummy stubs that don't do anything:

When will you add support for e10s? Currently under e10s it works on the chrome but not the content.

I have tested latest DOM Inspector 2.0.16, but this version still lacks a horizontal scrollbar. So I'm glad DOM Inspector Plus! exists :)

BTW, I have contacted the author of Element Inspector to detect the Plus version. An update is now available, so the manual patch is no longer required.

New Version 2.0.16.2 is ready on Mozilla site!

* NEW: with 2 new selectable things: since Version 2.0.16.2

[*] 1) By default you can use the "E" key for activating "Computed Style" viewer (see screenshot), so you can easily click & type 'e' to switch to 'Computed Style', 'c' to show css, etc. (in English locale)
You can change or remove that using new string-preference (in about:config):
    extensions.domInspectorPlusDm.keyViewers
An empty value will remove this 'accessKey', or you can add accessKeys to several/ALL the viewers, eg. with a value like (JSON format):
    {"Computed Style":"Q", "CSS Rules":"R", "JavaScript Object":"O"}
that should work also for other languages! (untested with non-latin characters)
[*] 2) You can put tiny borders and titlebar to inspector window with the boolean-preference:
    extensions.domInspectorPlusDm.smallMargin = true
Works only in certain windows systems, like win7 with aero-glass. (I remember seeing it also in Win8 and/or 10)
(Shows partly truncated top-menu when maximized)

This addon now works with original "Element Inspector" version 0.0.7 !
Thanks a lot to Ach3r0n and the author! This James Bond version couldn't inspect less :-)

Now We don't need to use a Domi-Plus unofficial -unsigned- version anymore! :-)

So what about e10s support? Also, Element Inspector 0.0.7 has worked for me for the longest time (except for content with e10s). Don't understand why you say it now works?

regarding hotkey (CTRL+SHIFT+I) which is conflicts with built-in devtools inspector and they don't want to fix it, even though devtools inspector now has two hotkeys: F12 and CTRL+SHIFT+I.

Please add this patch to DOMi+
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/attachment.cgi?id=791892

It will restore original CTRL+SHIFT+I hotkey for DOMi+

Another feature request I'd like to ask is be able open DOMi+ with DOM document view by default of the window it was open from (instead of Content document view as it is now)

Thank you.

Hi Darth Madara. Your addon is still listed as preliminary reviewed on http://addons.mozilla.org. The automatic signing is now less strict, so I would like to see your addon become listed as fully reviewed. This way the addon can be installed globally into the main Firefox folder.

For now I have submitted the addon myself as an unlisted addon. I got 33 warnings which you might want to look at, but it does not prevent the addon to get signed automatically.

Passing a full code review with AMO is sometimes really not worth it. The requirements are not only really difficult to meet, but they constantly change so even if you pass today, it might not pass with the next version. Mozilla is also planning to completely remove support for XUL extensions from Firefox in the next year, so it's probably a bit late to worry about that.

At the moment the signing procedure is mostly a formality. I was also able to get Plain Old Favorites signed, which contains binary code. Although I got 58 warnings it did pass the automatic tests.

That's because Mozilla removed the code review requirements for automated signing a few weeks ago.
