Hi everybody, this is my first post.
Cookie Monster (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... e-monster/) seem working fine after conversion.
Thank you very much for this great Add-on converter!

Since when do foxes live in trees?

Since when have firefoxen been foxes?

It's basically a red raccoon. ;)

But the animal wrapped around the blue planet is a red fox, not a red panda.

It works indeed, however the View Cookies -> Show Cookies... menu items under Cookie Monster button don't work. "Show Cookie Exceptions" also didn't work but I've updated the converter to make this item work so you may try converting again. As to the Show Cookies... items I might try something later but it may involve some more complicated mechanisms - so not yet 8-)

Not on mine there ain't. It was only moved down to the #nav-bar and then -moz-box-ordinal-group : 0 to the far left of it.

It was only done for me. ;)

This works after putting through the converter - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... emovetabs/

Update on Cookie Monster: this extension refers to localized strings in Firefox files which are not present in SeaMonkey, therefore the Show options under View Cookies didn't work. I've updated the converter to detect references to these files and to include them from Firefox, which results in View Cookies -> Show Cookies... working now! The only downside is that these files contain English texts so if you are using this extension in another language then some items may appear in English.

Almost! When you set the options to open the home page after closing all tabs then this resulted in error because SeaMonkey doesn't use the same method of getting the home page as Firefox. I've updated the converter to replace the method so if you convert again then everything should be working properly.

This is an interesting add-on because it's the first one I've encountered that shows its context menu items on tabs without any problems in SM. Usually, due to the tab differences they don't show up at all after conversion but here we have a nice surprise!

Is it possible to leave unchanged files dated the same as the source?

Also when a SeaMonkey section is added to install.rdf, how about a "pretty" name too?

You would like the files in the xpi archive to have original dates? I can see what I can do but probably not very soon due to other important work. The pretty name should be easier, I suppose :)

Unchanged files, yes.
That way when you compare two sets of files, you can quickly say, "Oh, the only thing that changed is...".
(And of course same date does not necessarily mean equality, but...)

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefo ... xkeyboard/ works great in SM after running through the Converter.

Makes life easier on a desktop if you've got used to using touchscreeen virtual keyboards that pop up when you select a text box.

Good find. Yah! :)

Edit : this is useful to know -

Code: Select all

.fxKeyboardActionKeys,#fxKeyboardToolbar .button-text{
   font-size: 18px !important;
}

Thanks for letting us know, I've updated the list!

@Anyone managed to get Add To Search Bar working ?

I have :mrgreen: . One of the less common chrome:// URLs needed to be converted for Add to Search Bar to work in SM - I've updated the converter so try again now!

Where can I find the xpi-file of an add-on, to upload it into the converter. "Download" on an add-on page offers no choice to select the file? Kindly excuse, if I have missed to find a help-file for the converter.

Right click the install button and choose "save link as". You should then be asked to save an XPI file.
