What about the session restore bug?

Bug 1016759 doesn't even have a patch for trunk yet, thus not going to happen unless someone is really fast porting those patches and getting them reviewed.

The question is - how Firefox fix this issue, as patch caused that problem was copy/paste from corresponding FF patch. I will look on it later today, and if Firefox fix is complicated then create a patch with just revert that one line change

Great, thanks! 8-)

It's too early to thank me, as I still fighting with my forum migration in first place and not sure, when I be able to look at this issue...

Ooo... I hope Bug 963132 makes it! That's a nice one!

Took awhile to find a Win build under /candidates/ but about to take it for a spin. Big fingers crossed that nothing in my extensions breaks!

So far no meltdown, keeping fingers crossed. 8-)

Yes, for Windows there are "signed" (regular Windows folder) and "unsigned" versions (the original builds before signing). If you want to get the ZIP file only for unpacking without running the installer, use the "unsigned" folder.

Not seeing any breakage here. Very fortunate because AMO's been backlogged and if I had to update an extension it definitely wouldn't push through in time!

The 2.26.1 release is now scheduled for tomorrow (it's on the release side of the FTP server already, website changes still pending).

Edit: Despite this being a "dot" release, the list of fixes is impressive!

What is so different about Gecko 30.0 that it will take so much longer?

Mostly it's a problem of the operating-system requirements. The build system is old and has been in the state of migration for a while. Thus, at least part of the problem is that the newer Gecko versions require newer library versions installed, which aren't available for the current CentOS 5 builders (need upgrading to CentOS 6). This affects Linux, but rather than skipping an entire platform for a release it was decided to just stick with the still working Gecko version for this release and to backport/take a couple of patches. Hopefully this will be resolved in time for the 2.28 release, but we'd need a couple of betas first before the final release on that platform can be approached.
