Flash won't install

Post by Alfred001 »

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this:

I was prompted today by the computer to install a Flash update, and when I donloaded the installer and let it run it told me that there isn't enough space, but I can't imagine that's the case. I have one HDD partitioned into 3 partitions, one holds the swap file and temporary files and that has 1.08 GB remaining, I have the windows partition which has 888 MB remaining and a partition for data with 9.08 GB remaining.

This is the second consecutive version of Flash that this has happened to me on.

Hi,
This is what I do...It's the direct method.
I do not enable the Adobe auto updates or "notify me" options. I do them all manually.

Go to, > http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
& D/L the un-installer. (You can keep this file if you want.)
Go to, > http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/ ... ndows.html
& scroll down a little to "Still having problems?" & D/L both (If needed), versions of Flash for your system.
*Important.*
Close all browsers & apps that use Flash because the "Un-installer" un-installs all Flash..

Run the un-installer. You can reboot the M/C, if you want.
Then run both installers.

You should have no problems with any AV (anti-virus), app.

Flash check site > http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html

(Always choose the "Custom" Install.)

You're most welcome, Alfred.

(I'll let you into a little secret...Shhhh..Only you & I will know. O.K.?
I use a little free app called "101 Clips" which really only saves 25 links ( it is the free version), & that enables me to
write the necessary replies once, save them & post the above ^^, types of responses, hence saving my KB & my fingers.)
