Good to know that 2.29 beta 2 is up.
Was wondering when the stable release will be available. Any ideas?
I really like the fact that the developers at SeaMonkey take the time to address all issues before the next stable version is released.
Good things come to those who wait. :)

Not sure when remote content blocking changed, but allowing remote content seems broken now. I may have a setting wrong, though.

Just installed SeaMonkey 2.26 beta 2.
It's in it's own folder called SeaMonkeyB.
I do this when I test a beta version of a browser.
Having no issues with it at all. :)
Really liking it so far and can't wait for the stable release. :D

Here it is: Bug 1063083 - Cannot install search engines (regression)

Thanks. I've added me to the cc list. Hopefully someone sees it and it's an easy fix. :D

This appears to be fixed in the candidate build :D Both AMO and mycroft work fine!

I would say the SM 2.29 had been a fast shot, too buggy atm.

Let's lock this thread given that 2.29 has been released and a dedicated thread is up in SM General, viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2866961
