hi,
when (and once) you block a image from a several (contextual mouse menu feature), you did not have a confirmation, neither a icon to replace the blank space, nor a simple message.
it would be good to have in the page a susbsitution picture to replace the blocked one.
because when we come back in the page, we can think something is missing by the blank space...and we don't remember what we did...
so, haveing this :
would be good ! or letting us configure the replace picture in the option.
have a nice day !
icon or picture to notify a "Blocked image"

Re: icon or picture to notify a "Blocked image"
Generally speaking, this is one of those 'just don't do that' kind of situations. The option to block images from certain domains is a basically an ancient feature that was mainly used by people who had very low bandwidth or slow connections and just wanted to view text on some sites.
You can use the Data Manager to try to fix that, but unfortunately there is not currently a method to clear Data permissions quickly and easily.

Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

i use this usefull feature to not see porn advert image on several legal website ! very good feature else it displays a blank space in place !
adding a local picture (from seamonley folder or elswhere on computer) to the webpage would cost no bandwith use.

Was also used to censor a certain popular shock site registered with a .cx top-level domain.
...
That's what I used it for, at least.

Interesting... I usually just use AdBlock for that. Little easier to configure than the Image permissions.

Exactly. Element Hiding Helper removes things like that very well. Actually, something that substituted a single line of text, perhaps in brackets, saying, "[Image blocked]" would be acceptable, but nothing bigger than that.
