If you enable them, yes.

With running the thread build longer, perhaps the thread title should be changed to something like Daily Build Thread 2014-10-14 and later or Daily Build Thread 2014-10-14 Through ..... or something else you might would rather have.

Is that a suggestion for the Firefox Build thread. :-"

I think a month is a good compromise for the Thunderbird Build thread.

There may be some major development with respect to the aurora channels, announcements expected tomorrow. This should mostly affect Firefox, but if Mozilla gets rid of the aurora channel as such and merges from trunk directly into beta in the future, this would also affect to some extent the Thunderbird cycles (not that much releases, given that those are coming from the ESR repositories).

See viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2886617 for the discussion in Firefox Builds.

Be sure to check out the new Address Autocomplete behavior in tomorrow's nightly. Much improved. Gives me exactly what I want in functionality. (at least with my AB)

Apparently false alarm - other than aurora having been rebranded to "Development Edition" for Firefox along with a couple of specific changes to browser/ (but also toolkit/) and a bunch of edition-specific bundled add-ons, nothing else seems to have been announced.

Thus, in theory, it shouldn't have any effect on the Earlybird builds.

if Mozilla gets rid of the aurora channel as such and merges from trunk directly into beta in the future

That's apparently not on the table but some concepts have been discussed.

Can someone confirm with latest trunk nightly and I'll file a bug.

In the Compose window, open Contacts sidebar and close the Compose window to keep the sidebar showing on next open.

Go to Tools>Options>Composition>General tab>remove check from Check for missing attachments and click Close.

Close and restart Thunderbird.

Open a new Compose window.

Verify Contacts side bar is missing and the address lines only show one line and not the default 3 lines or any other number of lines.

Error Console:

Timestamp: 11/14/2014 6:03:56 PM
Error: data.slice is not a function
Source File: chrome://messenger/content/messengercompose/MsgComposeCommands.js
Line: 1992

The bottom two are listed twice.

Good catch. I never would have seen this since I never use the contacts sidebar :)

It took me a couple of hours over a few days and at least three new profiles to troubleshoot this one. I could not imagine where the problem was coming from. :|

I included the Contacts sidebar in the STR just to make sure it was also known about and could be verified with the fix as well as the address lines. The problem will occur with or without it.

heh...you could probably just renew the thread only when there is a new release with very little maintenance.
