Yes....a can acknowledge that.....my problem at the moment is that these are inserted (and protected) by the website creation package, and I cannot see how to remove at the moment....I will keep trying!

So you are just going to punish all of the users who don't have the cash to buy a new laptop/monitor? Read the actual comments on that page... 1024x768 is still the defacto baseline. Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

According to your link 1024*768 is the second most popular resolution. Regardless, screen resolution couldn't be less relevant.
(Also, I don't know what kind of values that returns when you're using scaling because of better pixel density.) Intelligent alien life does exist, otherwise they would have contacted us.
