Updated to the March 3rd version of Daily 39.0a1 on Windows 64 bit machine and am greeted with blank planes besides the search bar and new filter icons to the left. Below is a photo of the window. > http://s29.postimg.org/juv9dnulj/Capture.jpg

I second justafish2002's experience. Today's build is Very, Very Bad ™ . I am falling back to Earlybird for today,

Woot. Glad it's a simple (not in scope though) fix.

Short story: Toolkit (i.e., Firefox) changed a menu string. Since this implies revising the entity names for label and accesskey, those entities are now unknown in applications where the respective XUL overlay hasn't been adjusted (by default, Thunderbird Daily and SeaMonkey trunk builds, which consequently broke as it's a menuitem in the main window). The other modifications you see in the patch are follow-up string adjustments to change "Character Encoding" to "Text encoding" everywhere else.
Should be fixed in tomorrow's Daily builds.

SSLv3 code has been removed with tomorrow's Daily ( bug 1106470). Meaning, tweaking the security.tls.version.* preferences won't help if you need SSL 3.0 support for whatever reason.
