addressing (contacts) suggestions failure

I was disappointed that the contacts autocomplete (suggestions) feature was not fixed in the latest release. I'm sure it's a goof and not a bug, but still very very annoying to Search in String instead of Begins with. when will this be fixed?

I think I tested this in 31.5 and found it still not fixed. I backed up to 24.8.1 again.
