Related to graphics, happening in layers in D3D9 (since OS is Windows XP SP3). Please file bug since it has been filed yet.

GPU is I guess integrated nvidia geforce 7205 from 630a chipset. :?:

Driver update any recently? Though I don't think so since nvidia didn't support this series.

crash-stats.mozilla.com seems to be either down or overloaded.

Yes, it is an outdated barebone system. Except that it tends to overheat and the drive is slow it is a nice little system.
No driver updates in the last years as far as I know.

Thanks.

Confirm, wants to download file and open in IE ( I have IE 11 set as default), gif plays in IE11.

I see application/octet-stream in both browsers when looking at the network GET .. over my head as to why it wants to save.

This isn't a bug. The server is telling the browser the file is a binary file so it downloads it instead of displaying the image.

BTW chrome has the same behavior.

IE does MIME Type Detection in which responses of "text/plain" and "application/octet-stream" are tested to see if IE can determine what file type it is.

I tried different version of Firefox from Nightly to Beta. x86-x64, with and without HWA and no luck.

Look like Nightly is asking for upgrade the old Firefox Sync to new Firefox Account, and it failed to sent the code to my Outlook...
Anyways, you should upgrade it if you want sync support after the end of 2015.
---
Ok... It did start sending it now, so I guess it want myself to spam my inbox, by letting me click resent a few times first. 8-)
---
And now, about:sync-log was telling me the server report as 504, failed to connect to the server. #-o
