I think we should test this new OAuth2 authentication feature, which is now in trunk, aurora and beta (!).

i get the feeling JoeS doesnt wanna do it . which is why he Added those other Links in the First OP Post. which if thats the case, perhaps the Thread(s) subject should be changed an made Sticky, all JoeS or whoever has control of the TB Threads only needs to Edit the post an update the Build Numbers

How about an annual thread, or maybe per ESR branch?

It's JoeS' thread, thus I'm not going to preempt anything here unless he says so.

Not the least bit interested in Firefox ESR, and there is no Thunderbird ESR. Just the Release based on the Firefox ESR Gecko version.

If summer activities weren't coming up I would consider volunteering to do this thread.

How accurate is the Thunderbird:Nightly Build Threads - MozillaWiki post?

What is a Bonsai query?

Why does the menu at Bonsai - CVS Query Form Bonsai only list SeaMonkey 1.8.0, SeaMonkey 1.8, SeaMonkey 1.9.0 brances, NSS, Security Services and Bugzilla?

:!: Maybe -Arch- could start something completely new. :!:

Rather obsolete, last edit 24 March 2007‎...

What is a Bonsai query?

That's the web interface for the CVS version-management system, which has since been replaced by Mercurial.

Why does the menu at Bonsai - CVS Query Form Bonsai only list SeaMonkey 1.8.0, SeaMonkey 1.8, SeaMonkey 1.9.0 brances, NSS, Security Services and Bugzilla?

That's because the 1.9.1 branches and later were maintained in the Mercurial version-management system. Thus, any code modified or introduced with Thunderbird 3.0 and later can't be seen in bonsai, only the historical code up to 3.0 alpha 2 (iirc).

So I would have to come up with my own version of a Daily build thread, or figure out how to copy this one. Got it!

Joe links to a wiki at the top of his opening post that will help you with getting started. I'm sure he would also help with any questions you may have as well.

Anyone know the cause or bug number for the missing Daily builds? The latest 40.0a1 win32 build is from 29-Apr-2015.

Edit: Filed Bug 1160805.
