This one occurred when trying to restart in Safe Mode.

@ gfxContext::gfxContext(mozilla::gfx::DrawTarget*, mozilla::gfx::PointTyped<mozilla::gfx::UnknownUnits> const&)

I have had to step back to May 14 build.

WildcatRay, is that a Sandy Bridge CPU? Try updating to the latest Intel 9.17.10.4101 driver for Sandy Bridge if possible.

Tired of constant Firefox UI changes? XUL extensions are not working anymore? Try SeaMonkey, Waterfox Classic, Pale Moon.

I use Aurora Channel and I have a strange problem with the version 40.x (Win7)

First Problem: When I upgrade from 39 to 40.x (Aurora) all my add-on that use "Jetpack" like RES, One Tab or Proxmate are broken. They are in the add-on manager but they don't work ??? I can't see their menu or use it ??? The fix is just to reinstall the add-on and everything is fine I don't even lost data in the Jetpack folder.

Second Problem/Bug: I use the default theme (not the Dark "developer edition" theme) and when I update it revert to the "Dark" theme... I change it back to the default and as soon I restart/close Firefox it come back with the dark theme ???

i've seen another guy with the same problem on Reddit but it did not found any solution ! :(

Do you know a way to completly remove/delete (not only disable) the "developer edition" dark theme ?

^All addons work fine here after updating aurora.

I can reproduce the theme bug though. it always reverts back to the ugly dark theme after restarting the browser -_-

@ Mikha777 -
1. something was changed in Nightly menu some time ago, I don't remember in which bug,
DTA! fixed this issue, so other addons developers will probably need fix it too;
2. about theme, it's Nightly bug

@PadaV4
@Virtual_ManPL

I'm back !

For the theme bug after digging in bugzilla and googling a lot I've found the issue and found a fix.

I found a recent bug related https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1148996 AND this bug was the inverse (No Dark theme under Dev Version) https://bugzilla-dev.allizom.org/show_b ... id=1149430 so after reading the 2 bugs I've concluded that changing "lightweightThemes.selectedThemeID", "firefox-devedition@mozilla.org" TO "lightweightThemes.selectedThemeID", "" was the solution to my bug.

I've tested it and it work. SO I don't know why but since FF40 it seem that if you were using a lightweighttheme (Default theme) in the Dev version and upgrading to Firefox 40 (dev edition) it put the "lightweightThemes.selectedThemeID" with the value ----> firefox-devedition@mozilla.org instead of leaving it "empty".

Here's the fix concretely:

In about:config

lightweightThemes.selectedThemeID WAS "firefox-devedition@mozilla.org"

I changed it to en empty string instead of "firefox-devedition@mozilla.org" ---> http://i.imgur.com/OLzAzKA.png Image

I really appreciate if somebody that is more fluent in English than I am could fill a bug on bugzilla and explain it more clearly than me... I'm not a coder ( I'm more a power-user) so I don't understand why there is a bug exactly, it's hard for me to explain since English is not my native language and I don't really code.

I know that i'm not the only one affected by this bug so if somebody was willing to fill a formal bug and post a link to the bug here I would be happy.

Best Regards
