No more gestures with Magic Mouse on OSX
Hi,
'm not using the home Mac most frequently so I can't say when it started but, after the last update, Magic Mouse horizontal gestures (single finger scroll/swipe left or right) to navigate across history stopped working.
I tried to search something but just found an old (now locked) thread.
Just tried in safe mode too...
Any hints?

I thought it was useless to specify that the MM is a brand new one, that it works perfectly on OSX (and Firefox too) and that just the "History back and forth gesture" doesn't work anymore...

So the rest of gestures work? If so, does the "History back and forth gesture" still work in Safari?

Hi LoudNoise...
Yes, MM gestures work (i.e. two fingers swipe to switch between fullscreen apps) and I can scroll up, down, left and right on Nightly too.
Yes, History gesture works on Safari.

This is likely the new audio indicators in Nightly breaking things.

Would that likely impact pages that don't have the indicators?

The structure of the tabs (and the tab bar, I guess) has changed. Anything expecting the old layout would likely break.

Can't speak for Rigido but I'm seeing this without FireGestures installed - back/forward with two finger left/right swipe is a built-in feature. Can't see a reported bug that matches so I'm going to try to track down a regression range then report it.

I started to think that I was the only OSX user with a Magic Mouse...
I never spoke of installed Add-ons and I never installed "FireGesture", as Tolien wrote ONE finger swipe is a built-in gesture (two fingers switch between fullscreen apps), just like Safari does on OSX.
Tolien let me know if you find a regression range and the bug number (I think there is my old bug somewhere on bugzilla...)
EDIT: This is the bug I filled some years ago: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=782429

Magic Trackpad/the built in trackpad on my MBP are just as broken - it's two fingers on those.
Edit: Gotcha!
Set layers.async-pan-zoom.enabled to false.

I am having no problems with either the MM or the trackpad.
I use: 41.0a2 (2015-08-03) , you are using 42?
Is this helpful to know which version it is still working on?
As for me I couldn't live without both the MM and the trackpad and Firefox is a great browser for Mac.

Re: No more gestures with Magic Mouse on OSX
I use to be able, with the mousepad in my MBPr, with a two finger swipe from left to right, to go back to the previous page/site. That is no longer the case. I haven't been using a mouse for the longest time. Is there a bug filed for the two finger swipe/s that are now not any longer working? Thanks!
