At least there's a sort of a fix for the auto-crammed-down-your-throat, updates.

I wonder if Media Player Classic will still run in this mess? At least it still works in W7.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

I like it. Hope the GUI tweaks start rolling out soon.

The Privacy Settings can be edited or disabled.
The Solitaire fee is dumb but then the game was not that good anyway.
Microsoft has been trying to drop Media Center for a while anyway. Use VLC.
Automatic driver updates can be disabled.

Re: Windows 10 launch, and "fun" little bits
I haven't explored the game part, yet. I'm installing Win 10 on 2 more computers and setting them to my preferences. Is this it? I'll try installing it in a bit, and report back here.

Internet Backgammon's 'come with' with 7, part of the 'games package'...
Edit: In 7 > Click Start, type: 'turn windows' (Turn Windows features on or off)> Games..activate the ones you want

Re: Windows 10 launch, and "fun" little bits
Hello everyone, haven't been around in a long time lol.
I have been using Win10 for almost a week now, no problems at the moment. Just one thing and it is that I don't like that much how it looks, it feels tablety at some point idk, I used a wp device for a while and dropped it because native applications such as skype worked better on iOS or Android, same with office (Someone would expect this apps to work better on Windows, but its not the case).
Facebook and twitter apps are ok, basic... but I dont like newsfeed load times, tend to be slow tbh.
I still think this M$'s OS is on the build, it needs to be improved in certain areas imo, because I think the home version it is really limited right now.

Re: Windows 10 launch, and "fun" little bits
So, as an update. Everything seems to load faster for me now, and Win 10 uses 0.5GB less of RAM, than Win 7 did. This is true across the 3 computers that I upgraded. Anyone else with a few GUI tweaks?
