Gmail interference

Thunderbird asked me whether I would give them permission to search my emails and of course I said no. What else! The little question box yesterday asked whether I wanted to integrate Thunderbird and Google. Of course I said no. (What on earth!) It seems to have taken place anyway. We all know Google, don't we? Today I can no longer send a link to a friend in Thunderbird, and Gmail seems to have all my Thunderbird messages in duplicate. I hate this!
