No, the actual problem (for me) is that OD2 removes the file from the list unconditionally.

A configuration item is preferred for easy toggling but an About:config will do.

Thank you!

I try not to add unnecessary GUI clutter in this extension, so ... :) well, I guess I'll do it tomorrow or at the weekend. Just keep your eyes open for add-on updates. I'll post here.

Here's beta 4.1.0:

Add a new boolean extensions.openDownload2.deleteFinished and set it to true or false.

Does it work for you?

OpenDownload² 4.0.1 not working with FF 41.0.2

Post by jlegg »

Has been an indispensable add-on but is not working in FF 41.0.2. When I click on Run nothing happens. The executable is not downloaded. Any chance of a fix?

Sorry to be so dense, but what console? How would I access any such error messages? If it's the Fx Health Report, that shows 0 Plugin Crashes. Thanks for your help here.

Hmm, what is the download page for any non-working file? I'll try.

Figured it would. Stopped working for me about 2 months ago. Tried uninstalling & re- installing, disabling all other Fx extensions, anti-virus & firewall, still no go. Very frustrating. Don't know what else to try.

That was it, a corrupted profile. Now to re-build the whole thing again. Many thanks for the help and an indispensable extension.
