Does anybody else have the problem that there are no arrows on the scrollbars in SeaMonkey trunk builds?
Or is that just me?
I searched the web, but I didn't turn up any recent reports.
It's both with the Classic and the Modern themes, and it also happens with a fresh profile, so I know it's not something I did to the settings, or the userChrome.css.

May be due to the GTK Themes you are using as I recall this is a issue on some Linux distros.
Also Gecko 43.0+ requires GTK 3.4+ and not 2.18+

Thanks for your answer. Yes, I've got a problem then; GTK is at v3.0 here. Let's hope it updates before the SeaMonkey release hits rv:43.

I was referring to rv: Gecko version and not SeaMonkey version. The Gecko 43.0 is what Firefox 43.0 uses and for SeaMonkey that would be SM 2.40

I know. It will be a long time before SeaMonkey is at version 43!

As long as we don't miss the chance for a Seamonkey 3.14...

I'm guessing you're on Mint? It's not the GTK version that is the problem here.Pim wrote:Thanks for your answer. Yes, I've got a problem then; GTK is at v3.0 here. Let's hope it updates before the SeaMonkey release hits rv:43.
The problem is that the guys making the themes are just copying the core stuff off each other and don't understand what they are doing. So, a simple 2 line mistake from years back has just persisted to this day.

The GTK 3.4+ (three.four) requirement has been changed to Gecko 45 (Firefox 45.0) actually. Forgot to update this.James wrote:May be due to the GTK Themes you are using as I recall this is a issue on some Linux distros.

Some gtk themes have dropped the arrows. I guess OP will have to search for a gtk theme that has them.James wrote:May be due to the GTK Themes you are using as I recall this is a issue on some Linux distros. ...
