Firefox Developer Edition - Can I link it to my website?

Hi guys

First post on the forum, hello to everyone.

I've just discovered the Firefox Dev Edition and am quite excited about what can be done with it. However, I would like to know, is there anyway it can be linked to my website, so the changes and edits that get made in the browser are permanent?

If not, is there something similar? It is so much easier to edit this way, hoping there is!

Do you want to know the changes?
Or what you change in the browser or what you type in the browser or ....

For example, changes made in the style editor, can these be made permanent?

There is userChrome.css for example.

He is programming a website and wants to edit the actual website, not just the look it has in his browser locally. That's not possible, is it?

If he is "editing" his (or any other) web site using the developer tools ...
No, I do not think that it is possible to remember the changes. If he wants to do that he can use the JS console and Greasemonkey. But I do not know of anything that would automatically translate the changes into a Stylish or Greasemonkey script.
Still, it would be a nice idea.

Hmm, could you simply make your changes, then go into the menu and save the page? I assume that would save the modified version, though I'm not sure. Obviously it wouldn't be live on the web at that point, you'd have to upload it to your webserver or whatever, but it might work for local development.

Depends on what "Save Page As" really does.
If it recreates the page from the DOM tree, then the changes are included. If the page is saved from cache, when it is the original page.

There is an option "View Generated Source" in the "Web Developer Extension" (which is something different than "Web Developer Tools") which does exactly that.
Still I do not know if all changes (e.g. CSS) are included.
