Up until very recently I have been synchronising my Lightning calendar with my Yahoo calendar using these instructions:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/th ... -and-yahoo
No problem and great job and then... it just stopped working
I suspect it is something down Yahoo end? but I don't really know.
I can "share" Yahoo calendar, using these instructions:
https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mozilla-thund ... n4704.html
but... it only allows me to see Yahoo calendar in Lightning, but not update it from Lightning
Did a search on the topic on interweb, but can't find anything sensible

Re: Using Lightning with Yahoo calendar
The actual instructions from Yahoo to sync their calendar with Lightning:
the problems seems to be that as soon as I change any event in Lightning, and try to sync it with Yahoo calendar I get an error message ("modification failed") and the calendar settings in Lightning change to "read only" ....
this doesn't work
Sync Yahoo Calendar with Mozilla Lightning
Get your Yahoo Calendar events in Mozilla Lightning by syncing the two calendar services. We've got the steps below to add your Yahoo Calendar. For more info about Mozilla Lighting, contact Mozilla support.
Sync with Mozilla Lightning
In Mozilla Thunderbird, click the Calendar icon .
Right-click anywhere in the left Calendar sidebar | select New Calendar.
- The "Create New Calendar" window appears.
Select On the Network.
Click Next.
Under "Format," select iCalendar (ICS).
In the "Location" field, enter your Yahoo Calendar ICS link.
- Follow the steps in "Share a calendar" to generate your ICS link.
Click Next.
Enter your calendar details.
Click Next.
Click Finish.

Re: Using Lightning with Yahoo calendar
Panic over - it was two step verification that for some reason stopped working.
Re-set it with new password and everything is fine.
Caldav is still working OK (as long as the password is fine...)

Re: Using Lightning with Yahoo calendar (Solved)
I noticed that the Yahoo! support page doesn't give much details on how to set up the sync'd calendar in Lightning.
Here is the location I had to enter to get it to work:
https://caldav.calendar.yahoo.com/dav/U ... r/Calendar
Of course, replace USERNAME with your Yahoo! username. Cheers.
