I have been using S3 for at least 6 months however after a recent OS reinstall now I got a pop up notification and a sound whenever a download has been completed. I don't want this and have it disabled. I didn't have this problem on my last install so how do I stop this? If it helps I am running mac.

1. Settings - General - Features - Play sound when downloads completes
2. Settings - General - Features - Show the "Download Completed" notification

I think "Use Color Gradients" option is missing in Settings > Appearance > Style.
so, I manually set 'extensions.s3downbar.style.useGradients' to false for modern look.
Please add it.

I know it but font size 5 is too small.

Yeah I know about these settings and have unchecked both. Still though I get the pop up although now the notification sound has stopped.

I've figured out that the notifications where coming from video download helper and disabled them there however s3 is still retaining a history. The reason why I started using download helper is because FF no longer has the option of deleting download history automatically.

This excellent extension stopped working in the latest nightly version 46.0a1 (2016-01-11) on Windows 7 Enterprise.
That is, the status bar indication does not show up any more.

If this is not the place for this please tell me where to post this.
