Bullying

Post by therube »

Bullying.

Does no good.
Not for the board.
Not for a user seeking help.

You want to make a point, make it, that's fine.
You want to disagree, state your differences, fine.

But no need to chase people away.

Poem, eh? You know the rules -

URLs? What happened in SafeMode?

Without all that, this thread is about as useless as a ham sandwich at a bar mitzvah.

Well, you have to see it from his point of view: "How dare these unknowledgeable people come here with their problems looking for help. What do they think we're here for other than to make fun of them?"

(Personally, I just add him and his "cohorts" to my ignore list. The less than 20% of their thousands and thousands of comments which are at least of some help to someone [else] don't make up for the 80% that are mostly just snide remarks. "Bullies" [not what I'd ever call such as them] are just boring.)
;) mozillaZine is not Mozilla; just as Godzilla is not God. Neither is Mozilla God... they just think they are (what's that about:mozilla?).
Hey, Mozilla... are you sure you wish to do this? (bug 1121291)

Phew, that's a relief. For one horrible moment it crossed my mind that mod_wasterel had me in mind, but was just too afraid to say so. Still, if he's added these mysterious figures to his ignore list then at least it can't be me, can it? -

Someone following me around the forums trying to take cheapshots doesn't actually bother me, but someone lying on a Site Discussion thread sure would. Sure glad you cleared that one up.
