Please don't post live links to direct downloads on these forums.

Magic actions doesn't play 1920*1200 streams. This resolution is whitin youtube's 1080p quality. When I select this resolution youtube switches to 1920*1200 (not always immediately I think) if the video was uploaded in this resolution. With MA pre-selecting 1080p this does not happen only 1728*1080 is played. I have to manually choose 1080p in the youtube player to get 1920*1200

Well, the chrome version's at 6.8.9.6, so they're actively maintaining that. It looks like they started to neglect the firefox version.

@avada and others with this issue

I had issue with latest 6.8.8.8 where i couldnt make it to play 1080p on youtube.
Max res available for some videos was 720p (when using addon) . I fixed that by reseting addon preferences
It shows properly all resolutions now!

Code: Select all
How to repair corrupted preferences

In Firefox, type about:config in the address bar and press Enter.
Then type magicactions in the search field.
    Right-click on extensions.magicactionsforyoutube.json
    Select Reset.
Click the menu ≡ and select the exit Firefox icon.
Open Firefox, Magic Actions should work like a charm...

Is there some reason why Magic Actions for Firefox is not updated?

That would be a question for the authors of the extension. http://www.chromeactions.com/magic-acti ... pport.html

My Firefox just updated itself to v6.9.1.2 and I discovered the Magic Actions icon embedded right into my Navigation bar while browsing YouTube and also at the Magic Actions site. [-X

This is the first time that this has happened — how can I remove it from my Navigation bar? ](*,)

@ChewInternetExplorer
Currently you can't remove icon from Navigation bar (icon only appear while browsing YouTube and at the Magic Actions website ), but we will try to improve it in the future releases.

Magic Actions for YouTube™ v6.9.1.2 (2016-10-24)

Now Magic Actions is a WebExtension with all the same features as the Chrome version:
new filters, a multi-range looper, vinyl mode, etc. (Require Firefox version 49.0+)

+ Video Filters - Detalization, High Contrast, S-High Contrast, Grayscale, Sepia, Red Magic, Invert

Image Image

+ Video Transforms - Magic Vinyl, Magic Zoom, Horizontal-Flip, Vertical-Flip

Image

+ Multi-Range Looper - to watch a piece of video in an endless loop, right-click on the timeline (seek/progress bar) and you will see a highlighted area between scrubber button and the place where you clicked (loop).
You can select as many loops as you like and they will play one after the other automatically. Right-click on a loop to remove it from the timeline.
It is important to understand that the starting point for a loop is the scrubber button and the ending point is a place where you click the right mouse button.

Install Magic Actions for YouTube v6.9.1.2

How to update...

Please remove it without waiting for an auspicious future date — it sucks and my Navigation bar feels violated.

Is there no plan to remove the obtrusive toolbar? It's full of features I have no care for, and just wastes space.

At least you could make it collapsible into a compact button somewhere out of the way.

I am wondering — what exactly were you thinking Serge1, when you decided to bless our Navigation bar with your invasive and irreversible self-promotion??? :-k
