url address barre is frozen or block by sh.st or linkshrink

Post by Michael REMY »

Hi,

it seems Seamonkey is ruined/hijacked when you browsed a url like that one : (i put google in the end to not make an advert)

http://sh.st/r/54a92df92a7214a3b10b7be0 ... .google.fr

once you put in the url address barre, i change the url (erase the begin and let only 'http://www.google.fr'), and hit ENTER key (or reload button) but Seamonkey did not catch my modification and continue to display the content of the main-first url.
it is like the script of http://sh.st/ or http://linkshrink.net could paralyze the update typing url.

very strange freeze because you have to wait the end of the counter to liberate the url address barre.

best regards

Works OK for me. When I deleted all but http://www.google.fr and hit return, I'm taken to Google.

Regards,

Dave.

Hello Michael,

No, I'm using widows XP Pro with SP3. I don't get a video playing.

Regards,

Dave.
