I will be adding this to minimo builds in the next few weeks. I posted a couple of firefox builds so that you can play around with the functionality on your desktop. Let me know what you think.
Asa posted a blog entry about it here: http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/asa/archives/007992.html Regards, Doug

Hmm so are you intending on using a (or 2) hardware buttons on the device as the Shift and Alt Keys then allowing the user to use the directional pad to scroll through links? I like this idea I'll have to test it out on firefox.

Doug, is this going to make it into the Firefox trunk, or were those builds just one-off tests for the benefit of Minimo? I'm also a fan of the idea in this thread, which may or may not be of interest to you.

Last I heard from doug is that spatial navigation may be a part of FF1.1 but it was still up in the air.

Will this feature ever make it into Firefox? First post is soon 4 years old. Didn't find anything in Bugzilla regarding this feature.

ok it's definitely time for this to get into Firefox.
@modellmakt and if you didn't find it in Bugzilla why don't you report it to mozilla devs , they should take action

Did you look for geolocation? something that is in the current trunk builds . I also doubt modellmakt is going to be that thrilled a year after his post.
