Re: [Ext]Sidebar Bookmark Selector
Hi,
Great stuff, but where do I open the settings dialog.
I found no menu link on main menu or on any right click.

It's in the tools>addons>sidebar bookmark selector>options.

Re: [Ext]Sidebar Bookmark Selector
I realized that this addon changes the title bar from "Mozilla Firefox" to "Unsorted Bookmarks" somehow right after Firefox is started with and without other addons.
I am using Japanese version of Firefox so "未整理のブックマーク" is shown on the title bar actually.
After some web sites are opened and closed, the appropriate title "Mozilla Firefox" is shown on the title bar with about:blank.

Thanks @millizombie,
I can confirm the issue.
And Version 2.0 released.(in Sandbox now)
Bug fixed: The title bar should not be "Unsorted Bookmarks" at the time of start up of Firefox.

Re: [Ext]Sidebar Bookmark Selector
Alice...
Something on latest inbound causes SBS to produce an empty sidebar bookmarks list.
Bad - https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozi ... a1b70ea5ab
Good - https://hg.mozilla.org/integration/mozi ... a91197a0f3
When I don't check Other Bookmarks the sidebar bookmarks are displayed.

Re: [Ext]Sidebar Bookmark Selector
Probably, the problem seems to be due to the following bug.
[*]#1257599 [Firefox:Bookmarks & History]-Rename »Unsorted Bookmarks« into »Other Bookmarks« [All]

Re: [Ext]Sidebar Bookmark Selector
Looks like it stopped working completely as of v48. When it's enabled then no bookmarks are shown in sidebar. Initially i thought i had lost all of them due to a bug in v48 but thankfully disabling SBS fixed it.
Trying Flat bookmarks now...

Re: [Ext]Sidebar Bookmark Selector
Anyone know of a way to hide the folders using UserChrome since Alice says it can't be fixed with the extension?

Yeah, I've been fooling around with it and can't figure it out. If anyone does please post here. Thanks.T0morrow wrote:I've tried in the past...unsuccessfully. May give it another shot tho. Didnt like Flat bookmarks.
Maybe we should ask Aris over on the CTR thread. I bet he might know how to do it.

Re: [Ext]Sidebar Bookmark Selector
FF48 broke a lot of things for me, including SBS.
I used SBS to get rid of the three main folders and just have all bookmarks in one (hidden) folder.
If you want that, you can just use this addon:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... l/?src=api
Works great for me.
